Dr. Roxie Mooney, DBA, has nearly two decades of experience helping leaders translate ideas and innovations into successful brands that yield measureable results in established and newly defined target markets. She is able to demystify marketing with science and a well-defined framework for commercialization and go-to-market strategies to accelerate customer adoption and optimize market success. She is well versed in both strategic and tactical marketing in B2B and B2C markets.
Dr. Roxie is regarded in the specialty-pharmacy, digital-health, and value-based healthcare sectors as a trusted advisor and strategic thinker. She recently published “How Leaders Market and Commercialize Healthcare Technology Innovation” in the peer-reviewed Journal of Business & Economic Perspectives (JBEP) and writes pragmatic blog posts that are focused on helping healthcare leaders.
Her work has helped to generate marketplace success for such noted health and lifestyle companies as Axium Healthcare Pharmacy (part of The Kroger Co.), Flossolution, Lime Fitness, MedX, Pure HealthyBack, Virtual Physician’s Network, and WellTek, Inc.
Dr. Roxie founded Legacy DNA during specialty pharmacy’s formative years, and has led the company’s ongoing growth since then. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for Virtual Physician’s Network and as Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications for WellTek, Inc., a global health, fitness, and wellness company.
Dr. Roxie holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a Marketing Specialization from Walden University, an MS degree in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a BA degree in Organizational Communications from Rollins College. She has carried out additional post-graduate studies on Disruptive Strategy under Clayton Christensen at Harvard Business School.
Dr. Roxie currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing, Consulting, and Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University and is a Board Member of One Purse, a nonprofit organization committed to restoring the lives and dreams of sex-trafficking survivors.
“I enjoy traveling to discover countries and cultures that are new to me, and I enjoy using oils to paint honeybees and naturescapes at urban organic tea houses,” she says. Speaking of bees, Dr. Roxie plans to take up beekeeping on her property.
