Kevin Hopkins is a veteran communications and marketing professional with 30+ years experience in business, technology, and health communications and marketing. Most recently, he has been a senior Internet marketing and sales executive since 1995, having worked for both national Internet agencies and high-profile SaaS and web-application and data-analytics startups. Among other roles, he was the founding Director of Corporate & Strategic Marketing for Intacct, an early Silicon Valley SaaS startup that is now the world’s leading cloud-based ERP solution, with more than 10,000 customers across the globe.
Mr. Hopkins also served for 23 years as Senior Contributing Editor for Business Week magazine, where he wrote widely on business, technology, and healthcare matters. Previously, he was Director of the White House Office of Policy Information and senior communications counsel to the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, where, in both positions, he led communications efforts on behalf of the government’s health and medical policies, among other topics. He was also Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, where he led groundbreaking studies on the epidemiology of the AIDS & HIV epidemic, on the impact of health-seeking behaviors on poverty and educational attainment, and on the environmental, biological, and behavioral determinants of children’s brain and intellectual development.
