Healthcare Innovation, mHealth

Tis the season… for mHealth! We had an amazing and inspiring time in October at Boston’s 2014 Connected Health Symposium. Now we’re revved up for the 2014 mHealth Summit on December 7-11, 2014. The world’s largest mobile health event, the mHealth Summit will turn the Washington, DC area into an international hub for all things mHealth. Pick your passion and you’ll find a wealth of information and insight on topics spanning mHealth, telehealth, connected heath, digital, wireless, wearables, consumer engagement, and gaming.

Innovation and Evidence

The 6th annual mHealth Summit promises to put new emphasis on innovation and evidence within the mobile health realm. Innovators will have incredible opportunities to launch their initiatives and products to a bustling crowd of key stakeholders in the industry. Likewise, the exhibit floor will allow attendees the opportunity to meet these people and companies who are working diligently to transform the industry and catapult it into the future. Educational sessions led by the world’s top researchers will provide strategic and directed information on how mHeath’s empirically-supported solutions are being developed and commercialized.

Networking, Networking, Networking!

One of the best ways to learn, share, and grow in any industry is through networking. One might consider the 2014 mHealth Summit to be a golden egg of networking. The Summit will provide attendees of all levels and goals in the mHealth arena with opportunities to collaborate, explore new business opportunities, train, educate, and inspire.

Join a diverse healthcare crowd, including C-level decision makers, investment and finance professionals, state and federal health professionals, researchers, policymakers, consumer and patient advocates, insurance payers and companies, and… well, basically any mHealth players you can think of!

Attendees will have a cornucopia of networking opportunities through conference events like:

  • Cross-audience and peer sessions
  • Interactive sessions
  • Special networking events
  • Discussions and demonstrations
  • Exhibit floor events
  • Mingling-encouraging pavilions

Partners and Sponsors

When we say the biggest mobile health event in the world, we’re not kidding. The conference is brought to us by the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHA), a first-of-its-kind collaboration of the mHealth Summit, Healthcare Information Management Systems (HIMSS), and Continua. The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) will also be behind the action. Sponsors cover the full gamut of companies in the health and technology spheres.

2014 mHeath Summit sponsors include a number of well-known brands, such as:

  • IBM
  • Symantec
  • Intel
  • Samsung
  • Verizon
  • AARP
  • Walgreens
  • Pfizer

The 2014 mHealth Summit has so much in store for the future of the industry. In the words of the PAHC, “The world will be here. Won’t you join us”? If you’re interested in connecting at the event, shoot me an email.
